We will be working on the first Phase of Kingfisher trail which is a one mile loop. We believe if we get good turnouts we can complete this mile in 3 workdays and be able to open the trail for use in the end of March.
What: We will be doing finishing work on the tread created by David Meredith master of the machine. We will also be doing rock armoring. Where: 4953 Yanceyville Road - (Where the Blue Heron trail currently ends at Yanceyville Road.) When: Saturday morning between 8:30AM-4:30PM. Can only work for a few hours? No problem come anytime in that window to help. If we get rained out on Saturday will have make-up on Sunday. Why: Cause sweet singletrack only comes from your effort. Who: You that's who! Bring a riding buddy too!
FAQ's: What do I need to bring? Work gloves, sturdy work shoes, plenty of water and a snack are recommended.
