February 28, 2012 | No Comments

Love your local trails? Want to be more involved? Are you already serving as a chapter officer? Join us for the IMBA-SORBA Advocacy Leadership Training weekend and spring meeting of the SORBA Board of Directors. We’re meeting in Knoxville, Tennessee for a weekend of socializing, advocacy training, and bike riding. The event kicks off Friday evening March 30th and runs til Sunday April 1st.

Meet Dave Wiens at the Friday social and hear him give the keynote address at lunch on Saturday.  Mike Van Able, IMBA Executive Director, will also be there to meet you and talk about the IMBA and SORBA relationship.

Sig Hutchinson will hold a session on Saturday. Sig is a dedicated advocate and a dynamic speaker that you won’t want to miss.

The Volunteer Rewards Dinner will be held Saturday evening at the Ijams Nature Center.

Group rides are held on Sunday at the local trails. Come out and enjoy the work of the Appalachian Mountain Bike Club (AMBC).

The cost is $30 for the whole weekend. Or if you are only attending the dinner on Saturday the cost is $20.

Registration is now open! Sign up today!
