The Piedmont Fat Tire Society is dedicated to the education, promotion, and enrichment of sustainable mountain biking trails and the communities they serve. Nonprofit, 501(c)3.

Our Vision: Via an organized and highly inclusive effort, we strive to foster a positive attitude in the community toward mountain biking in general. Our vision includes maintaining the existing trails, developing new trails, offering educational and social programs to help build a strong sense of community that reaches the Triad community and beyond.

Diversity and Inclusion Statement: The Nonprofit, Piedmont Fat Tire Society, is committed to creating an environment that is diverse, inclusive, and equitable where all members are treated with respect and dignity. For the purposes of this statement, diversity refers to race, gender, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual identity, familial status, age, disability, and socio-economic status. Inclusion is valuing, respecting, and encouraging the full participation of each member of the community we serve through programming, education, promotion, and enrichment of accessible and sustainable mountain biking trails. Equity is achieved by developing and supporting programs that allow access to the equipment and instruction needed to introduce the sport of mountain biking to all members of our community.
