This Saturday, June 17, 2017, is the next Kingfisher Trail workday. Kingfisher 'Big Dig 2' will continue the work we did a couple weeks ago. Remember, the more workers we get out the more trail we get cut! The more we get cut, the sooner we'll using our new trail.

Just like last time, there is no access to the work site from the current Kingfisher trail parking. We will have a shuttle to transport workers to the work site and back to the lot. More info and registration can be found at the link below

Kingfisher "Big Dig 2" Trail Building Day

Here's to a BIG turnout this Saturday!

Piedmont Fat Tire Society

A huge Thank You to everyone that came out and worked on the Kingfisher  'Big Dig' workday this past Saturday! It's not easy to skip a ride on a beautiful Saturday and come out to work in the woods. We really appreciate the sacrifice you folks made.

We had 32 people come out and work on clearing the next section of the Kingfisher trail. We got a good bit cleared but there is still work to be done. We are planning another Kingfisher workday soon so check this website and our Facebook page so you don't miss it! You can also sign up for email and we'll keep you up to date.

Dear Fat Tire Members,

REI thanks you for support as a partner who does so much on the trails in our community.  REI is offering everyone active with the Fat Tire Society access to our Co-op Insider Weekend. The dates for this are June 10 and 11. We have coupons that will give you 25% off total purchase of $200 or more, 20% off total purchase under $200, and 15% off bikes, paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, GPS products, activity trackers, and action cameras (these items are excluded from the 25% and 20% off discounts.)

I’ll have coupons at the registers with Fat Tire on them so anyone who wants to use one will just need to let the cashier know that they are with the Fat Tire Society and are here to pick up a coupon.

Thanks for all you guys do for our mountain biking community!
